Detailing air blower

Any recommendations on detailing blower? Adams, Chemical Guys, Metro, BigBoi? My leaf blower has died, and I am considering a dedicated one verses another leaf blower, although some of them are much better than my old corded one.

I have an EGO leaf blower for yard work. That thing is great. I plan on using it for drying the car. I'm not going to spend money on a dedicated blower. I don't wash my car as often as a pro detailer. So for me, not worth it for a dedicated blower.

I agree with above, the EGO blower works great, especially when paired with the stubby nozzle you can get from Etsy.

I've heard good things about the EGO blower. I have a milwaukee blower which isn't the best. I wash/detail my cars often so I will probably get the BigBoi blower with extended hose and mount it in my garage.

I purchased the EGO 580 specifically for drying and have been very happy with it so far. I like the idea of the stubby attachment too.

I have the EGO and Blo Air-GT. They work well together. EGO for larger panels and Blo for tighter areas.

If I was going to get a dedicated one, and I didn't have my Ego, it would probably be this one.

I just ordered the bigboi mini+. Should be here this week and I am sure I will be washing something this weekend. I will report back on how it operates

I don't think you're going to be disappointed. My thing with car washing equipment is. I want everything on a reel or on something that I don't have to get a bunch of shit out to wash my car, everytime. I'd have a big garage mounted vacuum on a reel, with a 50' hose. Same thing with the pressure washer.

Using a auto/motorcycle blaster for the last 15 years. Made in USA. Sold the Harley's but works good on G82. Heavy metal quality, since 1939.

This seems like a solid combo.

I've got the Ego blower with stubby nozzle and have then been switching to my air compressor to just flow out the smaller areas and cracks/crevices. While that works well it's a bit of a pain to move around the car with it. Think I'll add this smaller blower to my Xmas list with the wife.

I went with a Dewalt Flexvolt 60V Max because I have a bunch of Dewalt cordless tools and didn’t want to add another charger if I went with a different brand. It’s rated at 600 CFM, works well for my detailing needs, and moves more air than my old Makita 4-stroke gas blower. The EGO has the advantage of multiple hand grips, which is nice when drying the roof.

It works perfect for blowing out the excess water that's under the trunk lip and all down the window tracks. Also, I just open the doors and blow everything out. I love it.

Do you have any concerns with the metal case near your car? I really don't want to wall mount it. But also am concerned with the big metal case hitting my car. I feel like the MetroVac is the original and would rather buy it over the BigBoi.

Let us know how you like it, I'm considering a bigboi.

Do you have any concerns with the metal case near your car? Same question I had for the poster above.

The question wasn't for me, but I have a clunky 16 gallon shop vac with a 7 ft hose that I use for vacuuming the interior. I try to be mindful of where it is while I'm using it and haven't had a problem with it accidentally rolling into my cars. I always move the vac to the quarter of the vehicle I'm working on to prevent the vac from getting too close. I suppose a good solution would be have some way to lock the caster wheels.
