How many of you got to experience European Delivery?
Well, it's been almost 2 years since BMW canceled the ED program. Sucks that they canceled it. It's always been a dream of mine to special order an M car and picking it up in Munich.
I remember the first time I stumbled upon the ED delivery program. This is gotta be back in 2010-2011 when I was about 12-13 years old. Since I was a young buck, I've been into cars. I was most likely on BMWUSA building a 3 Series. I still do this when it's slow at work and I've got nothing to do . I started watching ED videos on Youtube and telling myself that I was going to do ED when I'm old enough to afford a new car. I remember I built an M3 (most likely an E90/E92) on BMWUSA, printed out the spec sheet, and taped it to the headboard of my bed. So, every day I woke up for school, I knew I had a goal to reach. Obviously, being 12-13 years old, I had a long way to go. Not knowing BMW would get rid of the ED program. I never got to experience it. But when I would watch ED videos on youtube, I could see how exciting and elegant the experience was. Back in 2013, my parents sold their 2003 BMW 330XI for a 2013 Honda Accord. I remember back in 2013, I was begging my parents to order a 5 series and to go through the ED program. But, I don't think any parent wants to buy their 20-year-old daughter a 50k+ car Sucks for enthusiasts like us that ED might never come back (fingers crossed) Curious to hear your guy's story on your ED experience. Feel free to share pictures!

I did, long before the Welt was a thing.
1987, I took six customers over to pick up the first batch of 325i Convertibles. I paid their tickets, they got a free trip, and we added the cars to our inventory when they arrived stateside. Just needed warm bodies to get the cars we couldn't get through normal allocation channels. Genius! |

My dream: Euro delivery just as I'm starting an all summer long stay in Germany. Alas, it's most likely going to remain a dream.

That sucks man. I hope BMW brings ED back. For now though, doesn't seem like it
