Replacing Front M-Sport Valence Number Plate Section
Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the section where the number plate goes on the front M-Sport valence / bumper?
I’ve bought an out of state car which had a number plate on the front. I have now removed this but of course the number plate was screwed directly into the bumper. The section looks like, it might be, a separate piece which can be replaced without having to replace the entire bumper, although I realise it does contain 2 of the front parking sensors. Anyone know if this is the case or would you recommend going down the fill and paint route? |

Llooks to be replaceable by itself. But I don't see different part numbers for different colors. I think that means it will come primed, but you would have to take the part to a body shop to have it painted to match. Below is a link. Confirm with your dealer if that is the correct part number for your VIN.

I wondered about the colour too, since they do all seem to come in black.
Even on white cars this piece is black. I do think to fit it, you would need access to rear of the bumper though, so I am assuming that means a bumper off job. |
