what does your morning routine look like?

Let's see. I wake up at 5:30-6:00. Wash my face and brush my teeth. Make sure that the cat (that is not mine) has food in the bowl and water. Then take my clothes out for the day and hang them in the bathroom.

After that's all set and done, I take my ass down to the basement and let the coffee brewing machine brew my coffee. I'll run on the treadmill for about 30 mins and lift weights for 10-15min.

Then I run my ass back upstairs and shower. Put my clothes on and head out of the house for work at around 7:45~ am. Get to work at around 8:20 am and flirt with the internet sales-rep for 30 mins (jk her dorky bf works there: ). Can't stand that guy. I yelled at him a couple times

Twitter, Bimmerpost, workout, work. All at home.
Every other week or so, I drive to the office, or to a customer.
So, much family time for me 🥰

I don't think I'd be able to work from home. I'd go insane

I hear that a lot and I get it. But I absolutely love it and so does my family.

I get up when the good lord deems it so. I then lay in bed awake for another 30 min or so. I then check my phone from bed. If no emergencies I may stay in bed longer. Usually my gf will bring me a shot of espresso to motivate me out of bed if I don't get out fast enough. After that I usually have a cup of coffee or another espresso. Usually I then have breakfast followed by my morning deposit, sometimes the deposit comes before the breakfast, but no serious work can be done until the morning deposit has been made. I use that time to check emails on my phone again, read news stories etc.

After that I will usually work on my laptop to get any pending stuff done. Sometimes it's an hour, sometimes it's a few hours. Then depending if I'm in FL or NC I will usually go for a walk around my neighborhood in FL and/or go to the gym for an hour twice a week. I typically follow the gym with another walk in a local park. In NC I will sometimes go for a walk in the woods then proceed to go do stuff outside. Lots of projects in NC so I always have something to do.

Woke up - self-consciousness and the desire to stop everything - a cup of coffee and a cold shower - the rest of the bathroom routine - finally breakfast and you can already start the day.

Get up around 7AM, put food and water outside for the outdoor cats, have coffee and breakfast, surf for an hour or so while having my coffee, then some work around the house (always something to do). Go get Wifey for lunch around 11:30, then after she goes back, a ride outside or some rowing and then a ride inside. Maybe more work around the house, then start dinner. Typical day.

I am very inefficient. I could only wish I could wake up, hit the gym in my basement, and then shower. I wake up around 7-7:30am, I can't sleep longer usually. Help my son get ready for daycare and do some stuff around the house myself, then 8-9 I usually make/take some work calls and browse internet, 8:30-9 shower, 9:30-10:30 breakfast and news, 10:30am I usually hit the road if I have to go somewhere. The good thing about this routine, no morning traffic

-wake up at 3am,eat 1st meal of day, walk one dog(other one sleeps in)
-out the door at 3:45am,consume pre-workout drink
-arrive at gym 4am,train til 5:30am
-have protein shake before leaving gym and heading home
-crawl back in bed w wife at 6am,back to sleep til 7:30-8am
-put both dogs outside & feed em 8:15ish
-cardio w wife from 8:30-9:30am
-eat 3rd meal 9:45ish
-10am start meal prep for remainder of day
-11am short nap for 45-60mins
-1pm back to gym for 2nd training session

This will vary slightly, but not by much I've always been an early-bird and can't "sleep in" even if I wanted to

5:15 AM - wake up, brush teeth, shower, and shave if Wednesday.

Get dressed, go downstairs, grab lunch, put coat and shoes on, leave.

Out the door sometime between 5:55 and 6:05, arrive for work between 6:27 and 6:39, usually late for work which starts at 6:30.

Some weeks I get really lucky and get the opportunity to cover someone at work, same routine except change wake up time to 4:15 AM or 3:00 AM depending on who I'm covering for and repeat routine with same time offset.

Life is wonderful. I'm never tired.

Wife's alarm at 5:00, mine set for 5:30. Usually the 5:00 triggers the bladder. Take dog out back and we both empty bladder. Brush teeth, sometimes shower, dress, make bed, feed dog, leave house. At work no later than 6:25. Read/respond to my 100 emails since I left at 4 yesterday, then walk across street to coffee. Chase the local dog that is waiting for me in front of shop, walk back to work and then start BP.

Awake at 0430 , feed cats then shower then coffee, read news and net for 30 minutes while enjoying morning coffee, out the door at 0525
20 minute/9 miles to work. Miss my 2 mile bike ride to work but the drive is short. Work a 10:30 day and drive 30 minutes home traffic. Home by 5pm.
Read Mail, prep dinner get a 40 minute walk or hike in then eat. News and talk with my lady and head to bed by 2045. Repeat 3 more times. I work 4 days a week so some Fridays I work 5 hours of OT.
