Brooklyn Grey Paint - Can you help

Hi guys I have a Brooklyn grey 220i, looks very glossy but when I’m direct sunlight I have what looks like hazy white clouds or marks, can only see when in direct sunlight. Was wondering if any of you could take a look at yours for me and feedback if common.

I’ve attached a pic from a distance (looks fine) then video of what I’m seeing when in direct sunlight up close.

Thanks Chris

Yup, looks like water spots.

Wash your car in the shade.....and towel dry.

Do you use any cleaning chemicals with tfr (traffic film remover) if not diluted correctly or left too long it leaves similar staining, I always ask my dealer not to wash my vehicle when in for service because they use tft and so do hand car wash businesses.

Hi thanks for the input. Car is always washed in the shade (only placed in sun to show marks) - 3 stage wash - bilt pre wash - foam - then mechanical wash, dried with towel then blo-air, the QD applied, but can’t remove them.

Can only see it in direct sunlight and dim garage lights, on dull days and in shade looks very glossy.

The car has been new car detailed and ceramic coated using modesta products.

So I’m guessing your cars don’t exhibit this?

Thanks Chris

Should have also said it’s more prominent on the horizontal panels, bonnet, roof and bootlid.

Hi D4VE , I use diluted Bilt Hamber surfex hd, don’t leave on long
then rinse off. Never had this on any of my cars, it’s very annoying.

Also, I always ask dealer not to wash, and I don’t go anywhere near car washers, manual or auto. Always clean myself as fussy.

Looks like water spots that need to be polished out with an orbital.
