Best looking new BMW design

Hey guys, with the continual controversial design of BMW since the G8X M3/M4, I was wondering what your thoughts were on the best looking new BMW design.

For me, the most recent BMW I've seen w/ the best looks have been the LCI G05 X5.

What's yours?

Looks nice.

Interesting static nearside reflections in the paint, combined wiht spinning wheels and blurred road surface, and bush...

G60 5er. Just saw my first one in person, a red i5 M60. Looks fantastic, like a modern interpretation of the E60.

I tried to answer your question, but I couldn’t find an answer.

Someone in town has an X5M Comp in the same color as pictured and it's gorgeous. I think it checks all the boxes for a sporty and luxurious SUV.

That could be good if it has a separation between the kidneys and lower intake. As is it's a black mess of shapes. The x1 Macphisto posted is much better even with a narrow strip of color below the kidneys. It looks pretty damn good and yes certainly better than the XM.

If the panel and lower kidney surround on the X5 was the body color and not a big black mono block, it would look a lot better. See black painted versions. More like the X3M?

The current M8. Also the X3 isn’t bad.

Hopefully the trend back to more traditionally sized kidney grilles is coming back.

That Edsel grill is awesome, but it will only last until Ford sues for Trademark infringement.

This is a real tracking shot (also called rolling shot), and the differences in focus you are seeing are because of object distance. The closer something is to the movement the blurrier it'll appear, and vice versa.

In my opinion, there aren't any NEW designs that are appealing.

The G26 is an example of a very nice design.

The G class cars with the big grills will be a future classic for sure.
When they are not available anymore i think more people will understand what BMW did when they made the M cars and the coupes of ONE generation of 3/4 series with the super agressive look these grills give. Its a great design, and its got roots in history. In the end they arent even big, if you look at any other car brand where the grill stretches from headlight to headlight and hood to ground..

I think the newest gen designs suffer from being hard to understand in 2D images. The lines are very complex and i think people judge to fast with to little understanding of the actual porpotions and design elements. Most people like the cars after seeing them live.

New gen BMWs are great in my opinion. And i think they succeed in distinguishing and evolving in a way i feel Audi is failing completly at for instance. Im a car guy, im interested in cars, but i really cant tell exactly if this or that Audi is a new gen, facelift or just aftermarket headlights.

This is my G26 i4. The car is amazing, and its turning heads after 2 years on the road. Im very happy a certain group of posters are not in charge of BMW design atleast. 😄

I'm going to agree that the 4-series GranCoupe (gas or electric) is my favorite of the current BMW's, but then again I loved the old one, too and it would be hard to choose between them. But I just cannot get over that the i4 weighs 5000lbs...
