2006 Grand Prix of Monaco...

The grand daddy of all pageantry...the Grand Prix of Monaco...

let's see who you're podium finishers will be. Here's my take

1. Alonso
2. Heir Schumacher (I think he'll take it but because I rather have someone else win this GP for once)
3. Massa or Fischi (it's a toss up)

I'm gonna have to say Schumi, Alonso, Raikkonen. No big reasons, just a guess. Maybe my rank will change after I watch the practice session I have tivo'd. We'll see.

I have a feeling Raikkonen is going to take the checkered flag.

As much as i would LOVE to have Kimi win the McLaren's have not been on par w/ the prancing horse the regi's in the past couple of races. But this is Monaco and all you have to do is get a good lap in for qualifying and it's virtually impossible to pass on the track...so pit tactics will truly come into play here.

Just watch, Alonso and Schumi are going to have an "accident."

Friday morning practice was surprising but the front runner might have been working on their race fuel load

David/Shim:
Solberg is A1. So was Richard Burns(RIP) and so are Vatanen/Kankkunen and der Walter.

But that's another topic.

I hate Renault!

In the replays you see the suspension working like it's on TV.And the disbrakes glow too. Amazing:

I should mention, since you brought up CBS, that I hate their coverage. Speed Channel coverage is so much better.

I guess it just seems like they announce the race like they're talking to a bunch of idiots. The Speed broadcast seems much more like a group of guys just sitting down to watch the race and commenting while they're at it.
If I wasn't such an impatient person I'd probably wait till June 2.

well how'd you like the qualifying provisional list and the subsequent ruling afterwards???

LOL I think heir schumi did that intentionally...based on some of the interviews and the incar shots some people said that it look totally preventable.

Massa looked like he was afraid to drive.
MS made the race not too boring coming from the back
Poor Kimi he must be so frustrated with Mclaren.
I hate JPM... he just sat there and the podium just came to him.
becoming boring to see Alonso just take the lead and no one challenge for it.
well, this time, kimi and webber tried. but both became DNFs.
I was delighted to see Barrichello outperform Button. on the other hand,
Barrichello looked so so slow.
And did you see the award ceremony? with DC wearing the superman cap!
haha. what you must do for your sponsors.
