These MPV vans are extremely popular here in Asia, used by politicians, rich people, movie stars and gangsters alike. Toyota is the king of the MPV, and the Lexus LM is the king of Toyota MPVs. They're more practical and comfortable than a Maybach and the LM carries as much status as one here.

The less pricey ones are extremely common all across Asia.

That's baller. I dig it.

A close friend got his au pair a Toyota minivan which he still has. Top spec. We sometimes use it to drive to the the track 1-4 hours away. It hauls more and is more comfortable than either of our Range Rovers, and it's just an absolute joy to be in. Great car.

I would opt for a sprinter like conversion instead, although more costly after conversion

The lower spec MPVs are 7 seaters. The LM is meant to be a luxury sedan with more headroom and legroom, hence 4 luxury seats.

Sounds like one more than you need if your driver is taking you and a guest somewhere.
