any other snowboarding addicts?

I have been snowboarding for about 10 years now. I have ridden several resorts in the US and would like to make my way up to Whistler next winter. I have to see what the "best ski resort in North America" is like! Also, I will def be throwing my board in the 1er and making a few road trips to Angel Fire in New Mexico this winter as well...I might even let the wifey come

Yeah I'm one...Unfortunately I'm in the Midwest so I have to make a trip out west at least once a year. Picked up a GNU rider's choice last year with the magnetraction edges and it rides like a razor.

My favorite spots so far have been Whistler's massive peaks and Vail's back bowls - absolutely gorgeous views and great runs. Still have to try Mammoth, Telluride and Jackson Hole...

Whistler/Blackcomb is better than either of them. Personally, I have been hankering to ski Teluride for the last few years but haven't had a chance. Maybe next year...

It's sooo much lighter and fluffier. I've been boarding out east a couple times, and Killington is my fav out there, but the dry snow around the rockies provides for much better powder. I was actually surprised at the difference. Plus the mountains are bigger.

wow, I'm not alone! I've ridden random east coast places that aren't worth mentioning but made a few trips here and there. I have ridden Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge, heavenly and sierra at tahoe, Dodge Ridge, and my personal fav so far JACKSON HOLE.

thunder, vapor is a sick board! I rode one at demo days. just not wide enough for my big feet though. I ended up going with the Baron ES with dragonfly core. LOVE IT

Went to Whistler this year, you'll have a great time long runs. I thought that there would be alot of powder, but alot of it was hard packed. There is plently of places to go off-pist, but beware of cougers. I am talking about the animial kind and the 40yr old kind also. There are alot of people from UK and EU.

dclee, Telluride is an amazing resort. I went with my ski club and CPSLO's ski club and it was the best week of my life. The town is super friendly (even to us crazy college kids!) and the terrain is top notch no matter what your skill level. When you're in town be sure to check out Baked in Telluride for some good food.

haha I have an awd jeep and awd audi a6 but I am not gonna drive there. my dad just gave one of his time shares to me so I am gonna fly up and stay at some slopes. I have a Burton Baron ES with the dragon fly core...its great but I think my next board will be a Neversummer.

Wish I could snowboard. Skier myself... Should be picking up a new set of ski's this winter. Not to mention a nice Season pass to Squaw Valley! Can't wait to get a hang of skiing again and bomb some black diamonds.
