Ineos Grenadier - An $80K G-Wagon/Defender?
Been seeing a lot of Ineos Grenadiers on car carriers coming out of the port here in SoCal. Never really looked into what they were until Throttle House put out a video today.
Configurator: https://ineosgrenadier.com/en/us/the...e-configurator Starting at around $71k USD, a relatively interesting vehicle: a more serious version of the Land Rover Defender, with less of the "I drive a G-Wagon" stigma. Not to mention it's got options for ridiculous stuff like a safari-style sunroof, and a bunch of roof switches like a passenger aircraft. Oh, and my favorite thing: it's a British-designed vehicle, with a German/BMW B58 (de-tuned) with a ZF 8 Speed and a BMW shifter, assembled in France. By a company that predominantly operates in the chemical/bio/pharma world. Rusnak (a big BMW/Porsche/Land Rover dealer family near me in SoCal) also has a standalone "Ineos Grenadier" dealership in LA. Throttle House:

I'll keep my Bronco, even with its rear center differential. Lol.
Thing's a joke. Emperor's clothes. Mine has LESS electronics. And the same engine power with 700cc less displacement. Last edited by Efthreeoh; 05-03-2024 at 04:26 PM.. |

I stopped watching Throttle House last year when they kept bashing BMW non-stop for views.
If you're looking for an actual YouTube channel for the Grenadier, check out TFL or TFLTruck. They purchased one to take off road and review it against competition.
