e46 wagon opinions?

My original intention was to have my new 135i as my one and only vehicle. After a month of driving, I don't think I can bear to drive my baby through the salty snowy roads of PA. Instead of getting a set of snow wheels/tires this winter, I'm giving serious thought to picking a ~2001 MT 328xi wagon. Such as this one:

Any opinions on e46 3 series AWD wagons?

I have a 323i wagon... its a great car as a second more utilitarian car... its still feels a bit sporty but in reality its slow... They are reliable and easy to work on...

Very clever choice. You could also look at A4 avant(2002+)

Thanks for the input. Thats exactly what I want, a utilitarian vehicle w/ a little luxury that isn't going bore the hell out of me.
