510cm long, 500kg heavier, and has the same trunk space and leg space as M3/M4, but way less usefull due to ridiculous shape of trunk.

50k € more then m3/m4, but same 0-100 (or even worse, same on paper ). Will drive way worse in turns, nightmare to park.

No carbon fibre on the steering wheel. M3/m4 - carbon.
Plastic paddle shifters, while m3/m4 gets full carbon.

No carbon fibre diffuser in the package.

No real shifter, only paddles.

Looks good, but that front camera offset - whoever approved that should just be fired immediately, lol.

Love the new interior combos, especially orange/black with green exterior.

Overall, m3 /m4 over this any given day. I see zero reason to get this and i would wait for panamera gts in july with v8 and no hybrid bs if i was looking to spend that much for a saloon.

I can dig it!!! This Isle of Man with Tartufo & Black is a striking combo! 😲
And we all know this thing is making closer to 730hp.😉
The changes are substantial and will appeal to current ///M owners like myself. 👏🏽👏🏽

Wow, after the 100s of spy shots and previews it looks … exactly like the new 5 series. What a surprise!

And cue gleeful JA, “it is SO fast… bwahaha - haha - ha

The sheer number of YouTubers they have teed up at this point is hilarious.

Yaaa this seems like a big miss. They’ve made it worse in almost every way. I don’t get it.

Looks good, much better than the frumpy looking regular 5ers

But it looks chunky and is clearly very heavy. I doubt the avg buyer would care, because BMW badge.

Carwow video shows the power to weight ratios for all M5 Gens:
G90: 299HP/Ton
F90: 335HP/Ton
F10: 321HP/Ton
E60: 289HP/Ton
E39: 236HP/Ton

Assuming no gearing magic or nuclear shifts the G90 will have, the G90 will be destroyed by previous gens without the electric power which might be most of the time.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Over a 1,000 lbs heavier than the F90 and only 672 lbs lighter than the XM. It’s not a sports sedan, it’s a land yacht with M badging.

I really don’t see a single aspect that is exciting. This is a land yacht. The rear is horrid!

What a disappointment. As a F90 owner, it is more complicated, heavier, BMW quotes it slower than the F90, its probably not as good to drive. What a disappointment. Disappointing boot, disappointing finish, looks cheaper inside than the F90.

Other than the Plugin BS with electric range, it provides no real benefit over the outgoing model. Maybe a little more modern tech and thats it. Disappointing. Not trading my F90 for this.

The same feeling I had comparing the G30 to the G60 prevails here. Little to no improvement in many aspects and plenty of drawbacks.

Thanks for sharing Jason.

Tartufo is excellent with Isle of Man green.

BUT….. Blue ambient light? Who approves these marketing video configurations?

Those are 3 conflicting non complimentary colors that don’t go well together.

Too big too ugly too complicated too expensive overall not for me. But that I knew ever since first leaks were around. Horrible offering from BMW. 2,5 tons of sheer monstrosity on wheels. But hey. That’s what market wants right ? Just because they might sell more doesn’t prove the car is better. Slower than it’s predecessor too. Downgrade in most crucial aspects for me. Hope they will not call it sport sedan. It would’ve been disgraceful to sport sedans.
Edit :
What’s worst for me is that here in states we did not get best wagon ever made by M division that was last years M3 and we will get the worst instead. And this comes from someone that has M5 and doesn’t like current M3.
