Maybe a dumb question…
What happens if you never charge the battery? Or, what happens if the battery gets depleted on a long trip? Is the car limited to just 585ish HP with no electric motor boost?

whatever car you're inquiring about
never plugin the XM or soon to come M5 will default to engine usage, any boost from the battery will be from regenerative braking and coasting. |
