I don't like the new TSX either, its ugly. Honda is screwing up in the looks department. Look at the Accord and new Pilot. YUK. I am afraid to see the new 09 Acura TL, they will probably screw it up also.
I prefer the 328i with sport pkg much more. |

I think the 08 TSX was a great looking car, "A Mini TL" I also think the TL-S looks awesome. I HOPE the 09 TL looks NOTHING like the new TSX. The fenders of the new TSX look like hell. WTF Acura/Honda. I think Honda's best looking car is the Civic Si Sedan. IMO IMO IMO.
I forgot. The front end also SUCKS. |

I liked the '08 TSX better as well. I saw an '09 TSX loaner yesterday and the previous gen TL went by. The TSX looked to be about the size of the old TL. Pretty typical now a days, but I thought the TSX was nicely sized. I would've taken a 328 over one any day of the week, but it was a good value.

I like the idea of the TSX, and I watched the development closely, but the end product is unsatisfying. The styling is debatable, it's still FWD, and the power is underwhelming. The technology can't be beat though.
If they had gone AWD & Turbo'd that four banger, it would be much more interesting. |

i wish they would take the TSX...convert it to a coupe, slap in some SH-AWD and the RDX turbo engine with some slight tuning and hit it with a standard bodyKit, 18" wheels....all for 30,000...AND NOW WE'RE TALKING!
KINDA LIKE THIS WITH 2 DOORS!! |

I would have happily considered this vehicle. I think $30,000 is a stretch, though.

I'm sure the TSX is a great car, but if you are into driving, FWD just isn't the best platform for it, so for me, it would have to be the BMW.
For the wife or GF (whichever you may have) I'd have to take a serious look at the deals being offered on the two cars. |

YAH, Acura is really FK'N up. I heard rumers last year that they might bring out a TSX coupe with the RDX engine which would of been awesome, especially if it had SH-AWD. The new one has all the toys like the TL which is great. My 07 TL Type-S had the best interior and electronics I have ever seen or owned. I just got tired of an automatic and FWD. Otherwise I loved it, best car I ever owned.
If Acura would turbocharge the 286hp TL-S 3.5 liter engine with SH-AWD and offer a 6-speed manual it would be on the top of my list. As long as they don't FK up the looks. But they aren't turbocharging it, and only offering an automatic with SH-AWD and a 3.7 liter 300hp V6. Acura is really FK'N up IMO. Honda/Acura is really making ugly cars IMO. The next gen Civic will probably be square with bulging/flat fenders. YUK. My old TL-S |

well i think the new MDX and RDX are quite attractive. But i whole heartedly agree that the new TSX and RL are really ugly. I don't see why acura doesnt go after a true performance buyer. i guess they found their niche and are staying there. Their buyers don't care about rwd or fwd just gadgets and a decent ride.

YAH the RDX and MDX are very nice looking. The new Honda Pilot looks worse IMO. Pilot, Accord, TSX, RL, YUK. Next they will ruin will be the ALL new TL.
