Stumbled upon this 1/1 2025 BMW G90 M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance Edition while on my trip in Monterey during Car week. The car is going up for auction at Gooding & Company Auction. This is the first G90 M5 to be delivered in the U.S and also the only one finished in Individual Frozen Orange metallic.

Like the color but that rear end is ugly. I think they did the best they could with the new body. I mean so much sharing going on with the 5 series you can only do so much. It sits to high and is just so bulky. It'll sell well and I'll wait full judgment till I can see it in person but this is definitely lease only to me. Way to complex and complicated to keep long term in my opinion.

Why did they do this. Like I can’t comprehend why auto manufacturers continue to ruin beautiful cars with rich histories.

I really believe there’s such a large scale, financially motivated agenda around electrifying vehicles. With less than 5% of the energy being generated from renewable sources it’s It’s truly not beneficial in the ways that they market. Not to mention the precious metals and mining required for all of the batteries in these vehicles.

Ridiculous weight aside, this color actually makes it look much better. I maintain that I really like the rear end. F90 Frontend, with G90 rear end, stupid hybrid system removed and an updated interior would look amazing, IMO.

IMO BMW M division is going wrong way with M cars but Im assuming all the hates about this almost ugly car will be changed to “love” and “ it’s growing on me” soon 😅

Hankook is an official tire supplier for F1 and Formula E for what it's worth. They have been upping their presence as the preferred choice for a lot of auto manufacturers this year, including Porsche, Aston, BMW to name a few...

Car looks meh, but I see its potential once modded. Going to look sick!

I’ll play devil’s advocate and say it actually looks good to me. It didn’t at first but it’s definitely starting to grow on me.

It doesn’t look better than the F90, but it’s still an okay looking vehicle.

Poor GTR? I don’t think so, it’s a 4,000 lb two door sports car.
