G90 M5 Carbon Body Kit by AUTOID Preview

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey guys, we've been busy developing a pre-preg carbon fibre styling kit for the G90 M5 that compliments, extends and adds aggression to the existing design language of the G90 M5.

We run through the design and development process in our recent video:

Let us know what you think on our vision for the G90 M5.

Super exciting to get our hands on the G90 M5 end of this year and can't wait to show you all more!

Wow, what a difference a nice set of wheels make. That rear diffuser is also huge improvement. Very nice setup!

Amazing how much getting rid of the painted portion down the read diffuser helps the rear end visuals

AutoID has solid taste. Y’all threw a bone to the OG M2 crowd with the TRE lip, helped the G87, and are doing good work here. Happy to see y’all thriving. Keep it up.

Fantastic kit. Wishing AUTOID a significant revenue uplift.

Incidentally, Joe AUTOID what wheels does the car have? Nice choice.

Beautifully done as everyone has stated. The aftermarket community is holding so many brands together right now from a design perspective (in my opinion)…

The rear-end/rear lights are painfully ugly to me, very Toyota Camry-esque. They feel out of place.

The rear defuser is much better than stock. Personally I dislike how many auto manufacturers are using plastic for trim. I do think this carbon looks leagues better but I’d love to see a paint-matched bumper as I think it would look classy and match the M prestige.

What’s the estimated drop on that over OEM? Or are the wheels just filling the wells that much.

Huge improvement on the back end! The existing thong is hideous.

The wheels are excellent. Worlds better than the OEM choices.

I also really like the new rear bumper / diffuser. You have cured the rear from looking like a hippo's ass in a bikini. Much improved.

The grill appears even more boxy and angular, which I think is the wrong direction. I would prefer it more rounded.

Thank you very much! The wheels are HRE P101s, very complimentary to an M5.

This model has been lowered, I cannot guarantee the scale of lowering or wheel diameter from this render unfortunately. Once our G90 M5 arrives we will be documenting the build process of making this reality.

Thanks so much for the amazing feedback guys! Can't wait to share the refinements and additional revisions in our new renders.

Excited to get our hands on the car in November!

I’m not sure we will be able to go to 22’s. Finding a 22” tire with the necessary load and speed ratings will be tough.
