11 kWh vs 7.4 kWh

BMW indicated that the M5 would have 11 kWh charging available starting in November, versus the 7.4 that was promised at launch. I'm assuming this is a function of a software upgrade. Anyone got any idea how to find out which one is available in the car?

Likely a hardware difference with the on board charger, but unless your charger is on something bigger than an 40 amp breaker, it won’t make a difference.
