Why 5x132 bolt pattern?

here is an answer to your question. BMW doesn't want customers to use their old M5 wheels on new G90 body. Also It makes the car more unique.

Absolutely not! It's to sell more new style wheels. Simple economics
Maybe they will be transitioning all the models or maybe just the m models to the new bolt pattern.
