Valvetronic Exhaust Sounds Insane Loud on G90 M5!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
@Valvetronic Designs Exhaust sounds insane loud on G90 M5! The G90 sounds amazing once you get rid of the stock mufflers and resonators. This should have came from factory sounding just like this system creates!

Interesting that there is no valve in the stock exhaust. It would be really interesting to see if they could tie the valves they installed into the CAN bus to be controlled by the M1 or M2 settings.

I hate the valves. They are so complex in the G80. The drive settings change the exhaust sound no matter what exhaust or controller you have. I just want a consistent sound.

I got a VT setup and love it tho.

What’s the cost of this?

Also, what exactly is being changed?

Are there implications for warranty?

Yeah idk, cant relate. I like being able to have it louder or quieter for when im getting home late for example. Options are nice. More options and choices is always better than corporate deciding everything for people...

It's a beast. Don't notice the weight. Not a track car though.

I like how he said there was going to be very little talking from here on forward, and then he just talked the whole rest of the video

Hahaha. This is exactly what I thought too, but the car does sound good. I liked seeing it actually slide around too.

With a car like this the valves make a lot more sense since its legitimately trying to be a full blown swiss army knife TBH. Yes, they are a little complicated, but way less so than the PHEV battery system and they make way more sense on a car like this than a flat out sports car.

I despise the active sound when you have a real engine. Hated it on my F80 and deleted it and hate it on my G20 now and deleted it. More time tuning engine sound and less time programming fake sound goes a long way. Having the ability to quiet the car down when cruising and pep it up when you want to make some (real) noise in and outside the cabin is a lovely thing.

This car sounds great - first solitary positive post I've made about one yet.

Hey folks!
Thank you for support and positivity. We going to be one of the first on the market developing exhaust for this new heavy beast!

The system is shown in the video is a preproduction unit and there will be some more updates to the production system so that we can offer the best exhaust experience on the market. all the design fabrication and engineering work is being done at our facility here in Boyertown Pennsylvania. If anybody is local, we invite them to come check it out in person!

For now enjoy the sound and stay tuned for us to put some free flowing components on this beast and really crank up the volume!
