I'm surprised that Audi and MB are so low.

Rivian and Tesla at 1 and 3... umm thats more of a cultish view of their own vehicles more than anything... neither are remotely reliable.

As the owner of a still-warrantied recent Jeep product which will be out of commission for at least THIRTEEN MONTHS because the mfg. cannot supply a driveline part, I can relate.
(And if that works, it is my first emoji.) |

Tesla should be at the very bottom they’re the absolute worst with customer satisfaction. I’m not sure how the hell they got that rating.

I can't take anything a Tesla owner says seriously. They are fanboys and not consumers. It's like they belong to a Musk cult.

Tesla's been around long enough that people are treating them like a full-fledged car brand now, but Rivian is new enough that they're still being cut slack that way Tesla was 10 years ago. Most owners go in knowing they're buying an experimental vehicle; it's like opting in for an open beta. It's likely a combination of owners' lowered expectations, due to it being a new brand, and owners giving Rivian more credit than deserved in surveys because they want to brand to survive. I'm sure if Lucid was on this list, we'd see a similarly sky-high rating.

I’m not. The ownership experience with those brands stinks and the reliability is a real problem.

Not surprising but sad to see Mercedes at the bottom. Their split of EV vs ICE did not bode well for them. Also, as a luxury brand, they forgot to offer luxury and reliability in the last decade or so. I visited the service department 10 times in a year and half for my S580!
I hope BMW does not go that way with too many lines and excessive use of mport brand across the lineup while using cheap interior materials and catering to the Chinese market with gimmicky lights and textures.

Rivians are very popular in my area. If I ask any one of the owners, ‘Would you buy this vehicle again?’ And they say ‘yes’, then it counts. There are lots of people who hike & camp in western Washington. The Rivian can take a full size mattress in the back, keep the climate control running at night with ‘camp mode’, store your hiking gear and power your coffee maker in the morning. I can’t think of another vehicle which does that seamlessly.
The survey wasn’t about reliability. |

A guy at work got rid of his Model 3 for a Tacoma this past summer and he still never shuts up about how much he loves Tesla. Something is legitimately wrong with those people.
