New Factory OEM Exhaust from BMW for the G90?

Hello everyone,

I was at the dealer today asking about my G90, Its been along wait for me. So as we were talking, the salesman told me that BMW is developing a new exhasut package for the G90 because alot of people wasnt very happy with the sound and they may include it in upcoming cars.

Anyone heard of it?

Bmw historically has had an m performance exhaust that you could buy OEM. Memory serves me correct they did an upgrade on the F90 exhaust from the base to the comp versions,plus the OEM performance option

Did the first F90 buyers get one fitted for free from bmw?

More than likely dealer is referring to M-Performance exhaust.

This was an option on both F10 and F90 M5’s and a provides a drastic improvement in sound and tone.

Replace the secondary DP with

https://redstarexhaustusa.com/bmw-g9...dary-downpipes

And get a x-pipe to delete the center resonator

The stock muffler will be good enough once you do this.

does the car monitor the secondaries so that if deleted it triggers a check engine light?

No it doesnt trigger a cel
Only primaries will trigger one

as mentioned completely expected for BMW to offer their performance exhaust, In my opinion, its never worth the price

you can upgrade the secondary downpipes for more sound or get an aftermarket exhaust
