Anti Theft System

Does the G90 come with an anti theft system(Pin to drive etc..)? If not, since the car starts up in electric mode, would engine immobilizers work?

M5 comes with a Thatcham approved alarm, immobiliser.
The vehicle will not run EV or ICE without the key present.

Relay theft is the most common type of attack but G99 should resist that if the keys are unmoved for greater than 90seconds.
There are some very specialised theft equipment that attempt to spoof the key but whether G9x are vulnerable remains to be seen.

They’re probably harder than other brands but unlikely to be theft proof.

Use an auxiliary ’asset tracker’ which uses non GSM communications to position the vehicle in the event of theft.
