No 2025's with Carbon Ceramics?

I found it odd that my allocation kept getting pushed (ordered 5 months ago) and today, i was contacted by my dealer who told me that my build would begin in February but with one missing option - no carbon ceramics. I'm told that BMW won't be selling any 2025's in the U.S. with carbon ceramics. Is that true? Anyone with ceramics actually get a 2025 delivered?

Peter

I just picked up my Marina Bay Blue G90 and it has carbon ceramics as well. Wonder what the cut-off was for manufacture date?

Mine starts in a few weeks it has CCBs, wondering if they are pushing it to 2026 models.

Do you have your production number? You can call the BMW Genius and see what is going on.

Mine went into production in early November with CCBs, and it's been stuck in the QC process for nearly 2-months. I called Genius and they eventually escalated to investigate the issue. They provided absolutely zero value, saying it likely waiting on a part but was marked as a top priority, and that's all they could see in their system. It should have been delivered in mid-December.

I'm told there is a supply chain issue impacting some of us (obviously i'm in the same boat as you). Might have to push to a 2026 to get CCB's.

the locator internal to BMW currently doesn't allow that fine of a search. But glancing at a few, there are some with CCBs (option 2NK). Think it would be rare for store orders to have CCBs given the price.

Crevier BMW has one in inventory with CCBs. Valencia has 2 in various stages--all customer sold.

Also, no bulletins regarding the availability of CCBs

I just got notified from my dealer today that no CCB is available for my order (February build). They are contacting BMW to get more info. Something is definitely going on.

Is yours a G90 or G99? Do they have any more details? Was the order already put in with CCB‘s and was recently kicked out? How did they get notification that it was unavailable?

This is an existing allocation for February build time. Did not have CCB originally but build is still editable….minus the CCB.

Just push ahead to a 2026..production starts in March. If your going to spend 140k..get what you want. Ask for a discount for the delay.
