Convince Me!

I have an opportunity to snag a G90 configured as follows:

Frozen Deep Grey
Red/Black Extended Merino Interior
Jet Black Wheels
Executive Package
Driving Assist Package
M Drive Professional

Looks modern and beautiful in config pics, but I’m struggling just a bit with the red interior (is it too gaudy?) and a little with the matte frozen paint. Also I’d have probably ordered the carbon package. Haven’t seen the Panoramic Sky Lounge Roof. How is that? Currently driving an F10 sapphire black/black full leather interior, so this would be a big change. If anyone had similar trepidations and fell in love with this combo please let me know! Also, any opinions on how to manage the matte paint (PPF, ceramic coating) would be appreciated! Cool with ordering something more “comfortable,” but I’d probably have to wait a year on delivery from what I’m told. Cost is MSRP. Thanks!!

PASS- IMO , the Matte/Frozen exterior will be a disaster to care for , and that red interior? Looks great , but every day ?

Mine is in Frozen Deep Grey (Red interior) , if you are going with this color (or any IMO) you should PPF the car. Frozen color are harder to maintain especially if theres smaller scratches, you cant polish it out

For this kind of money settling is not an option, get exactly what you want. ie. not having all the packages, you want (carbon package or CC brakes, wrong color etc..) I didn't have this doubt because I ordered exactly what I wanted.

I will build mine
At the end of the day you are not getting a discount so better order something exactly the way you want it

Since they are not offering you a discount, I would go find a dealer that may have an allocation ready to go. You are in Texas and there's several dealerships.
I think the frozen deep grey is beautiful. To protect it, you want to get full PPF and ceramic coating. There are other individual colors that you can chose from, check out the Canada BMW configurator https://configure.bmw.ca/en_CA/configure/G90/ When you submit your build to the dealership, let them know the individual color name you want. You can also do that with the interior, like requesting to get Tartufo. Of course, it will cost thousands more and will take longer to get your car build, but at least it is configured the way you want it.

Pass in my book, you definitely want to have the carbon package on your M5.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually found a local dealer with sapphire black metalic/black with carbon fiber package on the lot. That matches the build of our 2014 F10 which we've loved. Much more comfortable, although not as sexy as the frozen dark grey/red. With a little research I was kind of surprised at the number of 2025 M5s available around the country. I guess not the hot item that the dealers anticipated. From the reviews and feedback here I think we will love it. It'll certainly blow away our F10!

I think the frozen grey is beautiful - but for a daily driver, I'm really thinking black and black with the glass roof for light. I love the orange interior ( and really wish a tan interior was available).....but I'm just thinking it wouldn't hold for me...

If it’s on the lot, don’t take it for msrp. I got the same g90 off the lot 3 weeks ago, 5k off msrp and base money factor. These things are starting to sit on the lot.
