Incentives on G90 in Europe
Hey,
Just wanted to share that at least in Poland, BMW offers incentives of up to 15% straight away, no questions asked. Quite a few available in stock, ready to take. Interestingly, I am also cross shopping an M4, and same applies to it, as well as CS. Biggest discount, without surprise, is on 8 series, up to 30%. Anyways, EU prices are slightly inflated due to various taxes, still, it surprised me that there’s such availability and incentives across the entire lineup. I would be tempted to say G90 is not moving, but if yes, that’s true to the entire market. Any thoughts? |

I picked up one a few weeks ago for 5k off U.S msrp. Dealers were holding firm on msrp or a very small discount where I live. in end, they had to move em lol. I just don’t think these are flying off the lots like bmw was hoping. |

I doubt BMW will have trouble selling the G90/G99 now that Audi has thrown the white flag and put a V6 in their next flagship RS cars and Mercedes not even showing up to the fight at all. Now it's a choice of G90/99 or Panamera/AMG GT 4 doors that are 50-100k more expensive. |

The M5 G90 thus far has been a sales flop although many owners are reluctant to concede. But the F90 wasn't that great either, especially as BMW does not care about resale value, they care about putting units out on to the street

I agree. Resale values on BMWs are tragic. When we got our F90 well optioned with Bowers CCB executive etc market on them was low 80s to low 90s. And we got this below that. Now they’re in 50-60 range eaisily. I was on a hunt of 911 back than but they were about 20k more. Financially I wouldn’t loose half the money I have for stupid depreciation those cars have so it would actually be cheaper to buy more expensive car in the long run. Oh well. It is what it is.

source on sales flop data? I don't decide my car purchases based on popularity since I'm not in a cliquey high school anymore but would be interested in reading it particularly if it contextualizes it within the softening car market at large |

In a Trumpian USA where “Drill Baby, Drill” is the mantra, cheap gas is plentiful and climate means only today’s weather, I get why G9x is getting a muted reception.
If the rest of World was the same, it’d be a V12 under the hood. However, the rest of World is not the same and, although that Polish news is a surprise, I don’t envisage BMW having any difficulty shifting lots of them. Time will tell.
