M2 button doesn’t work?
Hey everyone,
Just picked up my G90 M5. Came from a f90 m5 comp and so far I’m loving the move! Question, is the M2 button supposed to work from brand new? Or does it work after the run in service? I’m assuming it’s meant to work and mines broken. I push it and it doesn’t do anything, not even a double click does anything like all my other M cars in the past. M1 works. I can set up M2 with my preferred settings in idrive but can’t actually use the button. Thinking it’s a dud and needs fixing. |

Confirming mine works totally fine. It does require a double click in my case, because traction control is greatly reduced in my m2 mode. 1st click it gives warning, 2nd click it engages.

I have a similar issue, i get a check control message about the forward collision being disabled then the M1 button stops working, but the M2 still functions, dealer said they need to replace the M1 and ordered it from Germany and will take 14 days to deliver, car only has less than 500 miles, this is my first M car and not happy with it!

Both my m1 and m2 buttons are programed for different settings and functioning, I use them almost every time I drive the car. I have not completed my break in service yet, the car was just dropped off for that service yesterday.

Same exaxt thing they told me, they need to replace the M1 button and will take 2 weeks coming from Germany, I also noticed that the light on the M2 button turns off when the check control message pops up, also cruise control gets disabled.

I didnt have to put a deposit down yet, so no harm no foul. I think I will get the car in May/June hopefully. Meanwhile I will keep driving my F90 and my G30 bimmers. I was amazed by way on the number of G30 BMW 530Lis on the street here in China |
