BMW G90 M5 Meisterschaft Performance Exhaust

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
GTHAUS Unveils their New Meisterschaft Performance Exhaust Solutions for the G90 BMW M5

Perfecting the M5 Since 1998
E39 → E60 → F10 → F90 → G90/G99 – We're keeping the M5 legacy alive!

We’re beyond excited to announce the launch of our brand-new performance exhaust kits for the G90 BMW M5! After rigorous hours of intense R&D, we’ve designed, tested, and manufactured these systems to bring you the ultimate in style, sound, and performance for the latest M5 model.

Since taking delivery of our G90 M5 on December 1st, our team has been diligently working to create another masterpiece. After extensive testing, we began shipping orders in mid-January, and the response has been nothing short of amazing! Our first batch is completely sold out, but don’t worry—pre-orders for the second round are now live and will begin shipping in just two weeks.

Two Exhaust Variants for Maximum Performance:
We’re introducing two distinct exhaust options that dramatically enhance the sound and performance of the G90 M5’s twin-turbo hybrid 8-cylinder engine:

GTC-VC – Vacuum-controlled valve unit
Super GT – Straight-pipe Cat-Back

These systems are available for both U.S. and European-spec M5s. European-spec systems are compatible with Euro OPF filters and the OEM valve system and factory controls.

Developed and Tested for Optimal Performance:
Each exhaust system was meticulously developed by our in-house engineering team, with one goal in mind: to amplify the M5’s exhaust note and deliver significant performance gains, addressing the factory exhaust’s lackluster sound. We are pleased to report that both variants have been thoroughly tested, both on the dyno and on the road, with impressive results:

48 horsepower increase
38 lb-ft of torque increase

These early results are already showing substantial gains, and we’ll be sharing the full dyno graphs soon. We’ve also partnered with RK Autowerkes and R44 Performance for further testing, and we’ll release additional results in the near future.

Ready to Enhance Your G90 M5?
We’re thrilled to offer these exhaust kits to enhance your driving experience with the new G90 M5. Our systems are in stock and ready to ship globally from our headquarters in Chicago.

Check out the video and sound clips here!

Are these ready to ship already? Would be the first high quality exhaust system available! G90 needs exhaust badly! Mine is driving me crazy how quiet it is!

I see it's a straight pipe vs X pipe. From my understanding the X pipe is what gives it that nice V8 throaty sound. Straight pipe just makes it hella loud.

I wouldn’t really call this an X-pipe. An X-pipe is when the exhaust flow from two different exhaust streams converges. This helps one exhaust pulse “pull” the other along with something called scavenging.

The valves version of this exhaust looks like it would be straight pipes with the valves open or flowing through a muffler when the valves are closed. It doesn’t look like there is any scavenging.

Since this is an axle-back exhaust it likely won’t be too loud with the valves open since you would still have the all the factory cats and the factory resonator in the middle of the vehicle.

I’m in the same boat as I’ve been waiting for a long time since early December and I’m not sure how much longer I can wait. I thought Valvetronic was going to be the first ones out from their initial reveal but I guess not.

Thanks for the update. I’m one of the first pre-orders for Valvetronic and just had their exhaust on my G80 as well which I loved. I’ll probably just stay put where I’m at but your system looks amazing as well with all the same features and is available now! That is going to make my wait really hard! With my ADD, I am an instant-gratification person that doesn’t like waiting! Waiting for one of the first G90s in Dallas was hard enough! 😁

Can the valves be controlled by the different OEM modes in the car or do you have to get the remote control as well?

That's very exciting! We hope your order is filled soon. In the meantime, if the wait gets too long, we're here for you! I'm confident we can work out a discount to make the switch worth it. We have some systems heading to Dallas, so you might get the chance to see and hear one in person. The sound and quality truly speak for themselves!

For Euro-spec vehicles, you can use the OEM driving modes to control the exhaust valves. These vehicles are typically equipped with systems that allow you to adjust the valve position directly through the vehicle's settings or driving modes.
However, for US-spec vehicles, you will need to use the provided GTHAUS remote to operate the valves. This remote allows you to manually control the exhaust valve settings, as the vehicle’s OEM driving modes do not offer direct control in this case.

Thank you for that response. Why is that? The euro system is a different valve control than the US system?
