I think you could always after market dealer install them but its probably cheaper from the factory.

I had asked the same question and the answer was: he has not heard anything on it.

the MP wheelset is pretty nice, should drop this summer at some point. Can't find if they're forged but BMW calls them "light-alloy wheels" so probably. Good pairing with CCBs for max unsprung mass reduction

There will always be the 1% who ditch them and put BBS LM wheels on their ride…thinking it’s a modern look.

Says the traditional gentleman who wears socks with sandals in their bone stock M5.

All jokes aside. There’s a smaller group of individuals that own and personalize thier M5 in comparison to other M platforms. Simply a different clientele base.

In my modern opinion, I do not find these wheels appealing. (I’d slap LM-R on this platform in heart beat!)

Each to their own!

If they’re called „light alloy”, then most likely they’re not forged. For g8x platform, BMW directly says „forged” wheels

Looks like a pain in the ass to clean…and if paired with the standard brakes they’ll be dirty in no time.

Just my personal opinion but if I'm spending money on a separate set of wheels they need to look significantly different than the stock options. Not seeing that in the MPP wheels here.

I wish modern cars looked halfway decent with old classic wheels with a lip..... like BBS RK, etc.

already have a custom forged set in production. Monobloc and WAY lighter than the heavy cast wheels that come with this car.

The offset on these cars is wild too. ET28 once you accommodate for the 12mm of shift outward.

No manbun and Birkenstocks with socks here, but whatever.

These cars and their parts are forward thinking…they might not hit the bullseye every time.

Yes, to each their own; however, there’s no need to put the 2004 Golf GTi on blocks and put it’s BBS LM-R wheels on an M5.

Little history lesson for ya bud…. The inconic E30 M3 came factory with BBS wheel. The E28 M5 came with factory BBS wheels. Your comment mentioning a “modern look” is actually quite off. It’s actually as classic look on modern car. If you go back and look at the BBS wheels placed on any BMW from the facotry, you’d soon realize these “forward thinking” wheels are just a rip off of BBS original designs.

Yes, Volkswagen used BBS on the GTI. German wheel on a German car, weird huh?

I can tell you with confidence there are more BMW’s running BBS LM/LM-R than any other make globally
