B&B VW Scirocco with 350bhp
Performance packages available for the 2.0 TFSI, 2.0 TDI, and 1.4 TSI Siegen-based tuner B&B has announced several engine modification packages for the new Volkswagen Scirocco that will allow the 2.0-liter TFSI engine to produce up to 350hp and 450Nm of torque. A total of six different performance stages are available for the 2.0 TFSI, the first stage costs 998 EUR and increases the engine's output to 235hp and 340Nm. The next four stages offer slight improvements over each previous stage as they are rated at 250, 265, 286 and 300hp. When the top of the line EVO R stage 6 is ordered, B&B replaces the original engine with a specially tuned one that features a bigger turbo loader, an optimized crank shaft, forged pistons, and modified cylinder heads. However this is only the beginning of the extraordinary changes that a necessary to complete the transformation as other updates include a unique sport exhaust system, modifications to the engine's electronics, and the addition of a slim-line oil cooler. Thanks to all that hard work, owners will be treated to a Scirocco that produces 350hp and 450Nm of torque which allows for a 0-100km/h time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 274km/h (170mph). B&B also offers a tuning program for VW's 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine and their 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine. Two different stages are offered for the TDI, the first stages boosts the engine's output to 180hp and 390Nm (up from 143hp / 320Nm) while the second stage features 210hp and 410Nm. There are three different stages for the 1.4-liter TSI with the top stage producing 240hp and 360Nm of torque. The company also offers a variety of performance upgrades such as 35mm lower sport springs, high-performance braking systems, and several wheel packages in sizes ranging from 18 to 20-inches. Should a potential owner want to show off their newly enhanced Scirocco with an aggressive body kit, they can order one from B&B partner Caractere.

If I had an alternate universe version of me (one that could afford two new cars), I would tell him to buy of these as a toy and a Passat CC as a DD.

Maybe, maybe not.... There are cars out there with decent numbers to the front wheels that don't torque steer.
