I also have Verizon FiOS. It was recentely upgraded for free to higher bandwidth up and down. $44.95 per month.

Ours stinks, plus it's split like three ways. And how come the nearest location to click on is Atlanta? That's real far away, does that matter?
Also it fluctuates a lot for download, I got 1500, 1700, 1800, 1300, 2500, 1100, 1900, 3900, 1600 but a constant 430 for upload.

Upload Speed: 360 kbps (45 KB/sec transfer rate) This is with Time Warner Cable Modem (NJ). Though I used to get 10000 kbps when I lived in Brooklyn, NY (Cablevision). Either way, my connection is slow compared to some of the other results here. Its amazing how things have changed. My introduction to the internet was in college when I had a 2400 bps modem to connnect to my TELNET account!
