Unbelievable Idiot
Ok I walk outside the building of a clients offices' on Ventura Blvd in Encino. There is a white Porsche GT3, one of my all time favorite cars, parked outside by the curb. I walk up to drool on it and notice the wheels on the passenger side are rashed all around, the front lip is broke in two with half of the right side piece missing, the intake next to the brake duct is cracked, the inside is filthy. I really feel like waiting for the idiot and telling him to give me his keys as he does not deserve this car. Why in god's name do people buy such nice cars and not take care of them. I don't get it, trash a 100K car like that. I think the poor thing wants me to take it home with me

100k is probably chump change to this guy.
But I generally agree, people who don't take care of their nice things strike me as odd.

Hey no worries I always see performance specced consumer vehicles(M's, AMG's, Porsches) fubared beyond belief here in LA. Often they are just carriages for the next trophy wife.... it really is sad . Perhaps life as a hot bitch is more favorable

Also, he paid for the car, its really his choice... I usually find that people who treat their cars like that are the ones with the big bank accounts.....or its a teenager and/or female driver. but when i see a an expensive car that has been babied to the max, i usually find the owners of the car the type of people living over their means. They are protecting their "huge investment" they put in the car. Just something ive noticed and definitely not true 100% of the time .. |

"Drive it like you stole it!" is not just a bumper sticker for some people, its a complete lifestyle.

Just cause you are a driver doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of your car. We've run both of our GT3's at the track and drive them daily when the weather permits in Chicago, which isn't often enough, but they are pristine inside and out.

just because you have the luxury of affording such cars doesnt validate treating it like shit. just because you can doesnt mean you should. sure, take it to the track and beat the shit out of it, as its meant to, but take some care of it.

some people don't give a shit though not to be rude or anything but its true. we all here love cars while some just buy them for the pleasure of just owning a iconic car just because they can...

its obvious this owner has a grip of money that he possess. so that gt3 is prolly his beater. Here in LA theres alot of ballin people who drive Lambos/bentlys/and etc... every day if you go to pasadena and santa monica. everytime i go there i get amazed of what these people drive daily

I disagree 110%. I think the real Idiots are the guys who pay a hundred thousand for a car to keep it as a garage queen.
The way you described his car, it sounds like hes using that thing as a daily driver which gets massive respect from me. If I ever get the money for a Gt3 or a ferrari you better believe i'm going to use that beast and drive it every day I can. Why buy a car to just look at it? You gotta use them! If its a rich clueless chick driving it, then thats a different story! .. take it back |

ya we all know that buying something like that means nothing to them but it is depressing to see such a nice piece of mobile artwork being trashed like that.
