C5 Z06 Vs 335i Vs Evo X

Alright it has come down to the wire.. My lease is up next month on my mustang, and im looking to get into one of these cars. I don't need more then 2 seats but of course having the extras is a big plus. Also my daily driving consists of 20-30 miles. I have my eye on a few 2003-2004 Z06'S with under 6k miles for under $30,000. I can go thru the auction and pick up a 2007 335i coupe for around 27- 28k with about 15-22k miles. Or get a lightly used Evo x with under 4k for about $27,000. If you were in my shoes what would u do?

I would ask for other peoples' opinions because I don't have the mental capacity to formulate my own.

all 3 are vastly different cars - I'd concentrate on what your priorities are and go from there.

Really i mean. I love each car for various reasons . Ive been in a C5 Z06,335I, but never an Evo. I really just want one that i can modify , and have fun with but not sacrifice to much either u know. They all would fit my Daily driving schedule though.

I would get a C6 and mod the heck out of it for your price range. A modded C6 is an 11 second car easy.

Thing is though. Although i love C6 id have to get an 05 and it would EASILY have at least 25-30k miles. Plus old Z06'S are a dime a dozen. I see new vettes all the time. I don't know i guess i like it becuase its unique you know.

Vastly different cars. Have you driven any of them? I suggest doing that and I'm sure you'll find your answer quite quickly.

Basically, the OP is looking to buy a fruit can buy an apple, an orange, or a pear for around the same price.

If I were to choose, I would choose the pear because I prefer it over an apple or an orange.

You think buying a 335i will make you more unique?

No not at all lol. Thats my beef with the 335i. Its a great all around car interior ,performance, fit and finish and its the best DD out of the bunch. But a Z06 or EVO would definitely rank higher in the UNIQUE category. Ya digg?

You seem to have your opinions on the cars already. Go test drive an Evo if you haven't already and the answer should present itself.

Personally, I'd go for the 335i. But I'm a fanboy and a dashstroker at that, so...

Funny that u say that. I JUST called my nearest Mitsubishi dealership and they said they don't allow test drives due to hp to weight ratio im like WTF how do u expect someone to buy a car.

I'd go for the 335i because of its practicality and performance. However, I'd do some research on the status of the warranty before purchasing one from an auction.

Had the same problem when buying my crotch rocket... haha.

Have you looked at the M Coupe at all, it is a good performance car, priced low 30's for a 2007 with <20K miles AND it is very unique (and sexy).

^I actually really do like the M coupe , but its just not for me. I think id enjoy having a 335i more because its a car that has a large aftermarket and has tremendous potential so it would be fun to work on.

Nothing has more aftermarket support then a small block Chevy, and if you really want to "work" on the car, the 'vette would be the one to get.

Lol this is 100% true. But when it comes to Cosmetic Mods , All the aftermarket suppliers for American cars are just . There's almost 0 nice mods for the vette when it comes to the exterior besides wheels and a drop.
