Poll: Which logo is best?

Guys I'm trying to start a website called RateMyModifications.com

A buddy of mine designed a few logos for me and I was wondering what you thought?

Give me some advice, if you don't like any let me know what you would like to see instead.

2nd one is better but isn't there a site already for it ? i forgot the name tho, i ll post it if i figure it out, btw shorter name would be more catchy and easier for some people, like rate my mods, instead of modifications.

Oh God if there is already a site for it let me know ASAP lol. I did some searches and couldn't come up with anything....closest thing is cardomain.

Yeah I'd shoot for the shorter name and that's what I wanted initially, but the domain isn't available so I'm goin for ratemymodifications.

lol yea i was about to say car domain but thats like a myspace for cars haha

this is a sweet idea. i dunno tho... i feel like the font used is too..."pretty" and elegant for car modifications...i like the square style for sure tho

You want something more rugged kinda? Maybe more "blocky"?

well if you're looking for critique i'd be glad to offer some.

to be honest neither are really what you're looking for in a logo. i wouldn't go with such a fancy font; stick to something a little more simple.

reflections and gloss look good for buttons and headings, but the logo should be more about a symbol rather than just some fancy text.

search google for something along the lines of "how to make a good logo" and you'll have plenty of simple guidelines, if it helps. if i had to pick between the two, i'd go with the circle.

I dont like either... 1st one types too small, too much white space. 2nd one... I rather not talk about it.. However both logo does not have anything to do with mods.

I like the idea for the site. I hope it is an easy to browse through time waster with a lot of awful cars. Maybe be able to just click next for hours and go through people car postings and give them a nice 1-5 ranking, but also be able to see thumbnails and make it easy to search for your or your buddies rides and see how they're doing. I think a logo something like E90post's would be the best. Maybe have a picture of a modded car that is always changing and distinctive block script over it.

i would go with ratemymods.com, and those logos look like a wedding invitation haha, just imo

I would of done that for sure though. I am in contact with my friend as I type this and he should have a few more by later tonight. I'm excited aahaha!
