I've never watched a single episode of star trek but I will go watch the movie simply because it looks SIIIIIICCCCKKK!!!

I never watched more than a handful of the old episodes but I think the new trailer speaks for itself. The style of the 2009 release does not reflect traditional Star Trek, and more or less, I think it will be a kickass movie that just happens to have the same characters as the originals...
