NW Regional Meet Photos, ~212 photos + 2 videos
Someone in the NW forum suggested that I should post my meet photos here, saying something along the lines of "this is how meet photos should be."
This is a combination of 3 different meets that I've attended in the past month. WHAT YOU THUNK? LOL That's all for photos. I also took a vid or two. EDIT: BTW, I think this is a great opportunity for you photographers to critique my work. Give me feedback about what you like, don't like, what works, and what doesn't. Thanks! |

Oh wow I forgot about this thread.
Besides the detail shots of the HPF turbo and logo, no Some were posted up in the NW regional forum...I can't find them at the moment. Thanks Didn't see any E30s I think. I don't know for sure, but it might be hun77777 (not sure how many 7s). Look for him in the NW regional forum. |

Very nice shots! I like how you got shots of ppl, BBQ, and other non car related stuff
What type of camera/set did you use? and for the in car shots in the convertible shooting out the front windshield, did you use a rig set up or tripod?

From the first photo down to the in car shot, I used a Canon 5D2, 70-200mm f/4 IS, and 17-40mm f/4 (I think, or 16-35mm f/2.8). For the in car shot, I just set up my tripod on the back seat, set the aperture to f/22 and tried to get the slowest shutter speed I could get with it. For photos after that down to the beginning of the photos at the dyno, I used a Nikon D300 17-55mm f/2.8, and the photos and video shot at the dyno were with the Canon 5D2, same 70-200mm but with a 16-35mm f/2.8 lens. Videos were shot with the 70-200mm f/4 IS. |

Very nice!! This is the first set of car photos that I actually like in a long time. IMO it gets boring after 2-3 times because every car meet looks the same. This one looked pretty cool though.

I missed it first time, so I'm glad that it came back up. Lots of nice shots in there.
What software do you apply your copyright with. It looks good. Dave

Same people, same cars; that's why I suggested that we do a drive instead of a park-n-meet. The actual thing does get boring after awhile without any action. I just use Lightroom. |
