So im leaving July 8th. Does anybody have any tips on where to go, what to do, etc? Definitely going to do the Phi Phi island boat trip.

I think Phang-Nga island is where they filmed one of the Bond movies...I was there back in 2000, great place to visit and cheap, especially the foods and entertainment..and yeah, put your guard on the lady-boy, they're all over the streets, but then again after the tsunami, i'm not sure if the "scene" is completely back yet. Enjoy the tropics...it's awesome.

Was there in 05. You gotta go see Bond Island. And there is also kayaking tours on the Andaman sea. One of the best experiences of my life. All the beaches are amzing there with crystal clear blue water and white powdery sand. Oh yea and you can definately get good deals for most things. Have fun. Pics or ban when you come back
