If the E90 didn't exist..G37XS vs A4 2.0Q

if the E90 wasn't an option.. which would you rather

2009 G37XS sedan vs 2009 A4 2.0Q sport package

figure on price being the same, so take that out of the mix too.........

I don't think you can get a G37XS, either a G37X or a G37S. I would probably take a G37S, A4 2.0t, G37X in that order personally. If a G37XS is available, that would be my third choice (after G37S and A4).

Def the A4 S-Line over the Infinity. Sorry, I don't like Japanese cars.

Your opinion is invalid. Audi is much better. My opinion is more valid. Your response to this will yield another invalid post.

I like the A4. It looks sharper and has plenty of torque.

A4 without a doubt. Just look at the interiors and you'll know the difference. Plus, the Infiniti VQ engines are just so incredibly inefficient.

for 2009 the G37 sedan is available with AWD(x) and sport package(s) hence the G37XS

In other words, g37. You can get more for your money in anything japanese....... they believe in slave labor at .99 cents an hour.
japan actually has a relatively high paid work force, now China or Taiwan is another story

Hmm this post seems to infer that you didn't know Infiniti was Japanese. Are you a female?

Very true. Wages in Japan vs China/Taiwan are very high.

I'd take the Audi any day.

im not so sure about that. Audi is known for AWD only cuz that's the only thing they can make to compete with the true RWD cars. but all their AWD cars are based on FWD econo box.. that's why most Audi's are known to understeer alot cuz it's FWD roots. only exceptions on the recent models are R8 and Lamborgini

Infiniti/Nissan's AWD is one of the best in the world, but most just don't know it. think of all the Skyline GT-Rs (always AWD) and the current GT-R (greatest AWD system ever??) and now the current version of X.. it's RWD biased and drives like a true RWD car at all times until traction is compromised thats when the torq splits to the front for AWD traction. the handling nature is very much like what BMW does with it's AWD (rear bised, neutral, etc).. but, likely better.

just my .02

Audi is known for their Quattro because their rally cars kicked ass with it

Not quite. Unfortunately the marketing people at Audi have called all of their AWD systems Quattro but some are FWD derived like the Haldex versions in the TT and the A3. But, the true Torsen AWD's in the A4, A5, S5 etc. are some of the best AWD's in the world. And, BMW's AWD is better but still sucks compared to Quattro.
