next time you go to NYC, you need to drop by long island.

well we saw my family for the first two days in branford/stafford springs ct and then we went to lake george with two of his friends. we went to six flags great escape, and then ausable chasm. we went to nyc and saw a yankee game (forgot to attach that one and the one of times square, see below :P ) the last couple days we spent time with my boyfriend's family in waterbury ct.

it was fun, a really nice day as far as weather. the building at columbus circle was new to me. the last time i visited there they were still building it. i've been to nyc hundreds of times because my family is from brooklyn but i haven't been there in a couple years since i moved to florida.

yeah, the background story is that there was a really bad flood back in the 90's that destroyed much of the stairways and bridges that were towards the bottom of the chasm. the last time i had been there was before the flood so it was kind of sad seeing how bad the destruction was. you're no longer able to go down to water level like you could before, well besides the boat dock at the end of the chasm.
