Thumbs up Quality of Forums

First off let me just give praise to this forum for all of its quality topics and how developed and tight-knit this community is. I'm a huge BMW fan, and I drive my friends nuts because I'm always talking about them. They just don't understand what it is about these cars. I've been a long time lurker on here for one reason, I don't own a bmw. Too tied up in college to be able to afford anything other than the car I bought last year. I bought a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon because my dad's best friend is a dealer and I got a monster deal on it. That being said with the choices from Hyundai can you blame me for my decision on the Tiburon?

E90post is an awesome community that I love being apart of. I read everything you guys post everyday when I get into work. (I love that "new post" button) For the most part the members of this forum are very mature and willing to provide each other with information. The same goes for bimmerfest, minus the PolySci section because thats mostly a bunch of yelling matches.

The only community I have to turn to that is worth anything is newtiburon.com....a horrible place to be. Out of the choices for hyundai forums it is the "best" if you can even call it that. I'm a newb when it comes to modding cars and I have questions that I would like answered when I go there. Unfortunately the only answer you get is, "damnit newb, use the search function". No one on the site wants to offer any help at all and its frustrating. Not to mention that if you have less than 100 post a moderator has to approve your post. So if a mod doesn't like what I'm saying in the post or if I'm asking too many questions, my thread never sees the light of day.

I know most of you guys have no interest in my post here either, I just needed someone to express my frustration too and since I trust this community's opinion more than my own car's community I figured I'd try my luck here.

So in closing I to you all and will continue my lurker status.

P.S. your car isn't cool at newtiburon.com unless you have a 10 foot wing and lambo doors. Would you trust the opinion of someone who does that? My point exactly.

you don't have to have an e90 to post on these forums. one of our highest posters, shim, doesn't even have an e90. and he has like 4352345 posts.

these forums are for e90 fans in general. so feel free to post man, you dont have to be a lurker cause you dont have an e90.

but you need to get a bmw asap heh.
welcome anyways man

sweet

Well I feel much better getting a warm welcome from everyone. Its funny you say I should get a bimmer asap. Believe me I'm saving up lol. Its funny how excited I am for the 335i to arrive in about a week and I'm not even taking delivery of one. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy but she can't wait for me to have the money for a bimmer also heh.

welcome to the e90 fan club dude. I did not know Jason and Mark have a tight operation scanning newb post. Very interesting. I thought they only reject posts that are offensive and ductructive to the community. Otherwise, it all good. Yeah, once in a while we have a few matches between sponsors and customer, other than that it is pretty quiet here.

"damn it newbie use the search function" You would have known you didn't need to own a BMW to have ongoing posts on this forum. Many many posters here don't OWN their cars, they lease.

...Oh F*@k, better get my suit on. (j/k guys)

Anyways, WELCOME

heh

Thank you all for the warm welcome and I was talking about newtiburon.com when I mentioned scanning posts. Didn't mean to confuse anyone. I feel much better now knowing that you guys don't disregard an opinion because "he doesn't own a bimmer" like some other forums do. I'm not completely naive about BMW's my boss has an 03 745i that I mod for him. I make fun of him because its his pimp-mobile. He has 22" chrome rims and tv's in the headrests and such, funny thing is, I helped install everything, ok well I don't really know why thats funny. Moral of the story is stay in school
