editor for the day

Has anyone received an invitation for "editor for the day" from Car&Driver or Road&Track? I received a post card that invites me to a test drive in Atlanta. It will feature BMW vs Cadillac vs Lexus. Seems like a great oprtunity if legit. I Registered online and am supposed to receive a packet in the mail. They did not ask for personal information or any kind of payment, just a questionaire about the mentioned brands. I hope it's for real. I the pack asks for a fee I am going to be pissed

Anybody heard of these events? Oh, I do subscribe to R&T.
