Maybe this is a good oppurtunity to road trip up here to Boston to wash your car?

You guys/gals don't have mandatory evac? Whatever you decide to do (evac or stay), be extra careful and if you stay, pack plenty of water.

Good luck Miami Bimmer06 - last year we had "Rita" so I know what you are feeling like now - hopefully it passes you by with little effect. Best wishes and stay safe.

Good luck and stay safe....make sure you have your supplies like drinking water, full tank of gas and cash at hand as well as canned/dry foods.A car cover is a good idea, if not use tarp cover or similar. This is to protect your interior from rain damage in the event of debris breaking your glass.

If you are parked in a basement parking garage, I'd move your car to higher ground (depends on building design of course). When I was living in Miami ('96-'01), our condo basement garage was chest deep in water after, I believe, Floyd...some years back. It was a sigh to behold to see many beautiful cars underwater. The whole basement looked like an indoor pool

Time for a hurricane party

I got school off today and tomorrow and they cancelled my first day of work which was supposed to be today because the mall closed early. It doesn't look like too bad of a storm, we'll see. Hopefully they'll cancel school on Thursday too so I have a long weekend. Stay safe everyone.

Good luck to all and remember-your safety is more important than that of your car.

Of course I hope your cars will be safe as well.....
