The high-revving 4498cc V8 has very light internal parts and tiny piston skirts, resulting in low rotation inertia and a 12.5:1 compression ratio. It puts out 562bhp at 9000rpm, 500rpm higher than the 430. That makes it the highest-revving Ferrari road car ever.
That engine is going to be amazing fun. Too bad the car looks terrible. Great side profile but front and back

Someone tell me this is fake. Only cheap cars attach their wingmirrors to the body. And the fuck is wrong with the front and rear?

*Edited*

The sides are fine, but the lack of ducting reduces that supercar look. It's an unfortunate product of function over form. Damn aerodynamics.

Edit: Ok, lose the alien headlights and it's not so bad. It's somewhat elegantly restrained I guess.

I like it ... I really do. I think the side profile is the only awkward part of the whole design... will have to see it in person.

I love it. I think it's sexy as hell; absolutely beautiful.

Haven't had this much excitement towards a F-car since the 355.

I don't like it. Looks like a tarted up Lotus Evora to me.

But then again I could never afford it so what the hell does my opinion matter.

WTF are you talking about?! Ferrari and lots of other exotics and expensive manufacturers have done that for DECADES.

WOW! It looks incredible. Ferrari has never disappointed me. 570hp @ 9,000rpms. Hang the hell on.

that engine alone is enough to make me ignore any design issues the car has.

But honestly, it looks way better than the F430 imo

I love the F40 exhaust, wheels, interior, and the side profile. I also love how it revs even higher and has way more power than before. I think the rear and headlights will take some getting used to.

EDIT: The rear end would look sick nasty with a Challenge grille! Can someone do a PS?

I like the front (alot actually) and side profiles, but I'm not sure on the rear. I'm not seemingly a fan of the new 'Ferrari hips' like they have on the Califorgay. The single brake light isn't near as hot as the previous dual.

Wasn't a fan at first but it is growing on me. Seems almost like the perfect car....maybe minus the tail pipes. Hardtop vert, fast as hell and two things that could pass as rear seats.

The OP's post car is more than worthy for me.

/\ That for some reason looks better than the red ones I've been seeing.

Not to jack...

I was fiddling around on the California configurator. You can pick from around 20 paint colors and the only ones I cared for were white, black, met black and dark silver. It's Califorgay when you put ocean blue leather in it.

Ferrari up the road has had a black/black for awhile. Someone must still be in Europe for summer is all I can think of as to why it is still on the floor.

The Scud they have winks at me every time I go by there.

love it, love the lines...only twinge for me is the bottom half of the front bumper, I think it ruins the lines, needs to be sharper

I see some design cues from Pininfarina's one-off Enzo, the P4/5.
