Both... Went to private for the last 3 years of HS after my freshmen year at public...

Went to private school for last two years of HS. Then went to private college for two years before transferring to a public university. Majored in standing in line and minored in filling out forms. Have spent the last 24 years attending the school of hard knocks.

Public, because they're very good in the northeast so private school is a waste of money in my mind. Down here in Florida though I would never send my child to a public school, they're awful.

I went to a public high school, but completed the remainder of my education in private schools.

There are specialized public high schools that are very good, but the typical public school gives a horrible preparation if you plan to attend a top tier university.

I met a lot of people who attended prep schools when I started college. For them, the first semester of college was just a review. Despite taking all AP and advanced classes in HS, I had a lot of catching up to do during my freshman year. There is definitely a difference between private and public schools and I will make sure my future children go to private schools.
