530xi wheel spacing

I'm trying to put on a set of 18" wheels from a 550i on my 530xi sportwagon. The original wheels are 225/50/17 with 43 mm offsets and the new wheels are 245/40/18 with 20mm offset in the front and 275/35/18 with 32mm offset in the rear. Does anyone know if this wheel set up will work and what if any wheel spacers I will need?

Thanks for any help.

should post this in the wheel & tire section.......

but to answer your question......if you have a 550i and trying to put wheels from that car on to a 530xi, it won't work. the 530xi takes a 35-45 offset wheel like a regular 3 series. No spacers will work actually, because it will push out the wheel way past the fender.

you could try mounting on the 550i wheels onto the 530xi without the spacers, but I'd be careful about rubbing. you don't want to damage the fender/bumper parts of your 530xi.......
