Red face Help Me Decide My Next Car...

my lease is up this december on my e92 335i (parted out in local section along with others) and i am searching for a new car and thinking about another solution .

it just so happens to be that my dad is leaving home again for business and won't be back for like a year which leaves his e92 328i lease at the house which currently has like 13 months left on it. the car will just be sitting in the garage with my mom rarely taking it out.

i have a car list planned as my next car but im also thinking save money use my dad's car and see what the car market is then and maybe i can get something better or find great deal on the used market as well . patience is a virtue...

damn but going from my 335i to 328i makes me sad . im going to miss my car alot amazing first car.

anyhow what do you guys think i should do? get me a new car or be patient and hope for better things in the future?

the car will be my daily driver... i put about 36k miles in 3 years.

of course i want a new car now but on a side note i think it would be smart to use my dad's car for now save money and see what options i have then (most logical, but there is the side that wants the new car)

if i wait maybe solid info on next gen m3, rs5/rs4, used car prices, etc...

the dilemma....

Why not use your dad's lease as your daily driver, get yourself a fun car and use it on the weekends or when your mom is using the 328i?

what is a fun car to use on the weekends an 08 aston martin vantage for $60-70k, used gt-r? lol.

my mom is barely going to use the 328 too, and if i were to get a car for myself, what happens when we return my dad's lease i would have to get a new daily driver...

not a fan of the s5, looking forward to the rs5...

the c63 is a spectacular car and has oodles more torque than the m3, you feel the power more, it is more raw. the m3 is more focused and nimble and is just a better overall driving experience. the problem i have with the cayman is exactly like jeremy clarkson describes it, "it is just a filler in the gap between the 911 and the cockster". the car was built to sit in the middle, and i could never buy a car that wasnt built to its full potential, because there is so much more there that they could have developed. on the other hand, if a 911 was a choice on this list, i would vote for that!

Be patient, unless you really, really want a certain car badly.

evo x. Too many e92 and e90's around here Of course not so many 335i's as 28i's but people don't know the difference and generalize your car into a 28i which is annoying lol

No it won't.

I voted C63, but I guess I'm a bit biased.
