Anyone else notice the Camaro's blatant rip-off of BMW angel eyes??

They even call them "halo rings" and claim they are a Chevy innovation

Yeah but I kind of ignore it. You see a lot of that going on Dodge Chargers/Magnums and challengers with cheap aftermarket knock offs

For a quick second I though you mean member Camaross305 and his nice Angel Eye kit and him ripping someone off. I was ready to defend him!

True...i'm not upset about that. I just think that the claim that the technology originated from Chevy is beyond ghey. I guess no one at Chevy has seen a BMW on the road in the last 10 years.

every asian automaker copies the euro cars. so do the cheaper euro cars copy the more expensive euro cars. VW copies mercedes and BMW in their designs.

it doesnt surprise me that america...with no automotive individuality in the last 20 years would resort to copying

I like mine...

So what if the Camaro has them, too? They look good.

BMW is losing one of its trademarks :-/ Kinda sad cause that's a really distinctive feature, IMO.

it most definitely is. but car companies have already attempted to rip off BMWs design styling

the camaros angel eye looks bad. i like that BMW has 2 sets. when the xenons are on, you can still see the other angel eye, it looks so mean

BMW angel eyes ftw
and the ones on the RR look fat and ugly

Why? Did one anally rape your grandmother or something? Hate people. Don't hate machines.

It's good to have favorties. but using lame excuses to hate things that aren't your favorite in order to justify having those favorites makes you look mentally challenged.

pmeloche Based on the responses here, obviously some people do care. Just trying to have a harmless discussion. In the future if you have nothing to contribute other than a stupid flame then pls STFU and move on from my thread.

Exactly my thought. I remember the first day I saw the angel eyes on the e39....it was at night and the can passed me going the opposite direction. I crapped myself and got wood at the same time.

Well, it bothers me more that chevy used ones that were white in the daytime on their first try.

Merc's ripoff of Audi's LEDs was a bit more blatant.

Haha, its emulation.

BMW always uses dim, ugly yellow angel eyes.
