So, I had to post this up on here, as from what I've read, a lot of people will get a real kick out of this.

A friend's cousin's repo company recently "acquired" a modded 135i. He gave the car to my friend to figure out what all was done to it so they can better sell it. It's a pretty unique looking car, so I figured it would turn up somewhere online.

It's a white 135i with carbon fiber overlaid hood and trunk (Seibon), black HRE wheels, Recaro bucket seats, Eibach dampers, individual filters, etc etc. Biggest giveaway though was the personalized New Jersey plate: "PROJEK1". A quick google search turned up a Car Domain page (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3324047) and a few more searches brought me to said user's profile on N54Tech. From what I gathered there and in a thread on this site, it looks like the car was owned by OverBoostinBimmers/BlackNWhite/TJ O'Connor, who from the sound of things scammed people over crappy carbon fiber parts, among other things. Seeing as he's been banned numerous times as well, I can tell he's not well liked here, so I figured certain people would be happy to hear that he got his car repo'd .

Now the fun part is figuring out what on earth the car's real story is. Looks like a real work-in-project. Rear seats are out, trunk liner is gone (I think he was attempting to install a meth kit?), there are two random USB cables leading from the engine bay to the passenger side footwell, plus a small red LCD display. Wideband doesn't seem to be hooked up fully/correctly either. I'll get some better pics tomorrow, but here's a shot for proof:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this car (if it is the same one) showed up on ebay a few months back and was posted here to much fanfare.

If this is recent it would seem that the new owner is in trouble. haha.

Hm, interesting. I'll have to see if i can take a look at the title to check if it was still in the hands of the original owner. That would explain how it ended up in Tampa, though.

What I find kinda odd is that the car has 25k miles on it, yet it was only purchased in Feb. of 09. How someone puts 25k miles on a brand new car in 10 months, while modding it, is beyond me.

You're free to choose whether to give a shit or not, but I figured people (like Andrew@EMS) would get a kick out of seeing this. If he did in fact own it when it was repo'd, it's a great case of a scammer getting their just deserts.

Meh, I put 9k miles on mine just in the month of November. It's not hard. Not like that 135 is heavily modded.
