Why would someone with a nice car park like this?
This was the scene next to my car after leaving the sushi restaurant for dinner. Wish I had the type of money to afford a Maserati and not care about it.

I really don't know. Clicking on this thread I thought it would be a picture or a car in the middle of two spots, but this a really have no clue. This shows how stupid most people are I guess. |

No, the guy is probably doing it intentionally. Many lunatics who love their cars too much will park like that to prevent another car from parking too close to them - creating a buffer space. My crazy friend used to do that with his Prelude back in the day...
IMO, he's just asking to get keyed... :P

This is just plain ignorance IMO. As many other forum members here, this guy is just asking to get keyed/tires slashed.

That makes me wish I had a longbed truck to park directly beside him, making it near impossible for him to escape.

Looks like there's still room to squeeze into the spot on the left of him, leaving him little room to get back into his car. I used to do that in college, when I had a CRX, and I'd climb into the back and get out of the hatch.
I wonder why people with common cars park like this? I can understand if you're driving a cool, rare car like a real Gullwing, a 250 GTO or even something newer like a Pagani or Koenigsegg, but when you're in a car that you can rent in Europe, why bother? My M Coupe is more rare than that no-resale having Maserati and still gets parked like any other car. |

why would it be okay to key someones car because of how it's parked? he probly doesn't give a f*ck about spending time parking. my bro did this all the time in his porsche and 7 series I never knew why but it was only during quick pit stops

those cars appear nice, but check the resale value on some of those. they dip down in the 60's with a new price tag of $150k. especially if it's an old one with a cambiocorsa tranny.
