VW Jetta Concept

I just saw some pictures of the new VW Jetta Sedan and Coupe concepts and I think they look really good. I actually think these cars could have easily been Audi models (A4 and A5).

IF these cars came with the following options:

-2.0T engine (around 225 hp)
-VR6 engine (around 280 hp)
-AWD (4 Motion)
-6 speed manual transmission
-DSG
-Well tuned sports suspension

...would any of you think about buying one?

I almost bought a TDI, but past due to the service nightmares. Seems like they all loath dealer warranty work.

Maybe this will be the design study for the actual Audi A3 sedan rumored to be coming to the US since the hatch doesnt sell?

The outside looks very similar to the Honda Accord Sedan/Coupe - which isn't a bad thing - they just look very similar to me. Very nice interiors too...

Hm.... The lines make me think a5/CC. The front end makes me think a4/ford Taurus. That black stripe at the end of the hood ruins the front end.

Looks good, almost too good. I think the A4/5 looses some exclusivity and uniqueness now.

I was looking at a VW CC prior to the BMW. I think it is a great design. They are doing great stuff these days. Although I do think the a4 = blah now.

I think it's a nice step up..but I agree that the front end could use a little work, especially around the center.

why ....I'd take this over a corolla and many others. Let's hope that they can come out with an R Version with AWD. Some people seem to forget what compact cars used to look like a few years ago. Just to name a few Vw Fox, MK3 Jetta, B3 Passat.
