I guess they really messed up on the budget so aside from the registration hikes, they have to raise traffic violations as well. Here in the L.A. area, I've noticed more cops and people getting pulled over.

gzz not even mes'n with that tint on the front windows anymore just not worth it. Maybe even have to give in and put a front plate on as well.

How are some of those fines even constitutional, I know VA tries to get away with massive fines and most of them had to be reduced because the punishment far outpaced the crime (I think they capped all fines at $500)

My CA registration renewal bill just came and they want $764. Increased sales and income taxes, high registration fees, expensive car insurance. I really need to reevaluate whether the benefits of of living in this state are worth the costs.
